Al Kalma represents a new alliance, developed in 2024, between two major organizations, Keralty and Burjeel. It is created to develop in the Middle East region, an ecosystem of comprehensive services that cover the entire population (healthy and sick), starting with population health management to the provision of health and social services focused on primary care, mental health, and health programs.
The PHSO (Population Health Services Organization) is the central control unit of the ecosystem, responsible for characterizing the population, prioritizing the programs and services to be implemented, and coordinating and managing the care network. Ensuring a series of interventions that cover the entire care cycle, from prevention and promotion of well- being and health to rehabilitation and palliative care.
In mental health, it is proposed to design and implement a comprehensive and innovative model of mental health care in the Middle East through the development of an integrated ecosystem that starts with programs focused on well-being through its Joyful platform adapted to the local context, and encompasses different services in mental health, outpatient, home, and hospital care. We will develop services that promote the recovery of the patient in their community and improve the quality of life of those who suffer from a mental health condition.
In primary care, we aim to provide high-quality and easily accessible services that promote patient empowerment and health management according to identified needs. We will provide continuous and individualized care for the person and their family, by an interdisciplinary team that develops and follows a care plan focused on the prevention and promotion of health, early detection and timely treatment of diseases, and rehabilitation and recovery if necessary.
