Certification in Palliative Care

A new and important achievement obtained by the prepaid medicine company Colsanitas and EPS Sanitas, receiving the Certification of New Health Foundation Certification to have Palliative Care Excellence Programs.

Having received last Friday the "Certification in the New Palex PCP methods" Colsanitas and EPS Sanitas reaffirmed their commitment to implementing best practices carried out in the world to accompany in the best possible way our users and members who are take a stage facing end of life and to provide their families with the best of us.

The New Health Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the study and optimization of health systems, social care, family support and the environment, in order to improve the quality of life of people and their families in the process advanced disease, high dependency and the last stages of life.

The NEWPALEX® Certification is obtained by meeting in the organization a series of standards that have been collected from the international consensus of experts in management and organization of resources and palliative care programs and standards recognized by prestigious international organizations.

The Certification as Palliative Care Program of Excellence was received last Friday by Vice Health Colsanitas and Vice President of Health EPS Sanitas, as well as members of the working groups of the two companies, through their efforts, this new achievement was made possible.
