In order to offer intensive training to Mexican health professionals related to this field of medicine that brings them closer and closer to understanding maternal and fetal disease and the most recent techniques for prenatal diagnosis and fetal surgery, eighteen of the most recognized experts in the world will meet from this May 23 at the First International Course on Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Prenatal Diagnosis and Fetal Therapy.

The course, which seeks to promote the integration of clinical practice and decision-making, is organized by the Keralty Business Group, which has nearly 40 years of experience in health insurance, the development of clinical and hospital provision institutions of services and entities dedicated to the training and permanent updating of professionals, and is currently present in countries such as Colombia, Brazil, the United States, Peru, the Philippines, Venezuela and Mexico.

Over three days, which will be held at the Hotel Crowne Plaza Dakota No. 95, in Mexico City, experts in Maternal Fetal Medicine from Portugal, the United States, Colombia, Chile and Mexico will share their knowledge on the most recent developments of the specialty, in this course that is also part of the official training programs of the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG), and that has the endorsement of the National Polytechnic Institute of Mexico and the Higher School of Medicine of Mexico.

The First International Maternal-Fetal Medicine Course in Mexico is focused on the new era in Maternal-Fetal Medicine - Biomarkers, syndromes in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, prenatal diagnosis and fetal therapy.

The topics it will develop its conferences, workshops, high-fidelity simulations, activities of real anatomical correlation and workshops in personal computers, will be preterm delivery, pre-eclampsia, biomarkers in fetal medicine, non-invasive prenatal diagnosis, NIPT, differential diagnosis of fetal disease through ultrasound, fetal echocardiography, fetal neurosonography, fetal therapy, fetal surgery, and obstetric Doppler.

The main purpose is that at the end of the course the participants are trained to describe and standardize the management of maternal pathologies such as pre-eclampsia, preterm birth and diabetes. At the same time, they must have all the tools and knowledge to describe and diagnose congenital anomalies, apply developmental parameters to the origin of congenital anomalies, as well as to describe the anatomy, physiology, and pathology of the anomalies.

This training program is made for medical professionals interested in Fetal Medicine as a discipline integrated into prenatal diagnosis such as obstetricians, gynecologists, specialists in maternal-fetal medicine, specialists in fetal medicine, radiologists, neonatologists and Ultrasonographers.
