It is expected that this institution will carry out about 1,000 hospital admissions per month, 900 surgical procedures, 7,000 scheduled consultations and more than 5,000 emergency services.

  • - The new primary care clinic, which is located in the west of Bogotá (Calle 73A # 76-66), has 143 hospital beds, among operating rooms and ICUs; 19 pediatric critical care units; 18 critical care beds for adults, 6 operating rooms; emergency service with 10 service cubicles; clinical laboratory; radiology; and 20 clinics for outpatient care.

  • - The Santa María del Lago Children's Clinic will serve more than 250 thousand children and adolescents affiliated with Sanitas EPS in Bogota, and will also make an important contribution to decongesting the emergency services of highly complex clinics and hospitals in the city, as well as the services provided by medical centers, IPS (Health Service Provider, by its acronym in Spanish) and health professionals to affiliates of other EPSs in the city.
 
Bogota, July 2019. With the presence of the Mayor of Bogotá, Enrique Peñalosa Londoño; the president of the Colsanitas Clinic, Jorge Camilo Cortés Cruz; the president of Sanitas EPS, Juan Pablo Rueda Sánchez; and the C.E.O. of the Keralty Business Group, Sergio Martínez Martin, the Santa María del Lago Children's Clinic was inaugurated on June 18 in western Bogotá. 
 
This new facility, which is part of the comprehensive and integrated strategy of Colsanitas Clinic and Sanitas EPS to continue strengthening health care for children and adolescents, will serve over 250 thousand children who are affiliated with Sanitas EPS in Bogota, contributing to the decongestion of the emergency services of clinical and hospital institutions, as well as the services offered by the different public and private IPS (Health Service Provider, by its acronym in Spanish) of the city.
 
The Santa María del Lago Children's Clinic joins the efforts that the Colsanitas Clinic has developed to provide Bogota and Colombia with an increasing number of highly complex hospital institutions and a greater offer of hospital beds to achieve ever better opportunity, quality and warmth in health services.
 
It also joins the efforts that Sanitas EPS has advanced in recent years with the opening in 2017 of the Zona In Pediatric Medical Center, in the Puente Aranda sector, which serves about 50 thousand Bogota children, and the Priority Pediatric Medical Center recently opened on Carrera 19 Av. and Calle 99, north of the city. 
 
This new medical complex, in which more than 500 health professionals work, has 149 hospital beds; 19 pediatric critical care units; 18 critical care beds for adults, 6 operating rooms; emergency service with 10 service cubicles; clinical laboratory; radiology; and 20 clinics for outpatient care.
 
The Santa María del Lago Children's Clinic is located on Calle 73A # 76-66. It is expected that this institution will carry out about 1,000 hospital admissions per month, 900 medium and high complexity surgical procedures, 7,000 scheduled consultations and more than 5,000 emergency services.
